525 Market St. San Francisco

Space saving in San Fran

What we did

Future-proof parking: We turned a hard-to-work space into a high-end 80 bike amenity, with future capacity to increase to 110 without demolishing a thing (happening in May 2018).

Secure enclosure: We constructed our trademark sustainable hardwood timber enclosure down a steep ramp without missing a beat, giving 525 Market the hottest new bike room in town.

Big savings: Taking a building from 16 to 80 (and soon 110) bikes without the loss of any revenue generating space? It’s how we roll.

“As a building of 3,500 people in San Francisco, our bicycle storage space and options were very limited. Five at Heart optimised our 16 bicycle storage space and increased our capacity to 80 bicycles plus a maintenance station. Tenants have been blown away by our new bike friendly facility and ridership has increased to capacity. The storage unit designed and installed for us includes state-of-the-art space saving equipment that caters to differing kinds of rider mobility. Bicycle parking has been a breeze with three varying parking options, from a simple slide-and-lock, to spaces that allow for bicycles to double-stack. This attractive modern design has been an excellent addition to our building and has provided a wonderful added amenity to our tenants.”
